Appreciated this place, it was great. You should definitely explore Heartside district, it's worth it. The room they gave us was awesome and luxurious.
-
We thoroughly enjoyed views and location, the hotel had absolutely everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. Adjacent to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot.
The hotel is located on an noisy street so be ready.
-
The total experience was terrific. The setting was just walking distance from blue bridge and other tourist destinations;)))
-
Loved the room and the cleanliness of the hotel and room. Great style and decor.
-
Convenient location downtown venues. Room presentation was pleasing, and appeared clean.
Apathetic staff, dining mediocre.

We enjoyed the experience with family at an upscale city hotel. Everything was so very delightful as we spoiled ourselves during our stay. Also, everyone on the staff was very helpful and attentive to making our stay very enjoyable.
The swimming pool was fun and relaxing, although a little too warm. Otherwise, nothing that we didn't like.

Overall a very pleasurable experience. The front desk check-in staff (one man in particular) was excellent and very welcoming. We were not there long but enjoyed it all. We were upgraded to a concierge level room with a great riverfront view as I noted in my check-in on line that it was our 19th anniversary. What a wonderful surprise that they listened and offered such a nice upgrade.
Food service stopped at 11:00 on a busy restaurant week Friday. When we arrived back at the hotel after walking around town we were disappointed that we could not even order appetizers in the bar (only room service). So we had to go back out to a nearby restaurant instead.

Cleanliness, views, hotel staff

Good location very nice hotel
The water pressure while shower was not good at all.

We loved the hotel and staff. The accommodations were excellent, the staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The only complaint would be that we had to pay for parking. We both felt that a lot should be available for guests of the hotel free of charge.
-
Great rooms. Great view of City and River front.
Price. We paid over $200 and had a friend stay in same type of room for half of what we paid. Same night.
-
Luxurious room. Good Location to Van Andel Arena and to restaurants.
